They will welcome Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league over two years since relocating for construction to commence. “Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.” The stadium will not be at full capacity though over 45,000 attendees can be present as per the current authorization. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel along with upgraded changing facilities. Stadium Testing Barcelona held an open training session inside the stadium earlier this month. Officials stated approval is being pursued from Uefa to host the next European match against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December in the renovated venue. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
