Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete maintains impressive online presence

Kai Trump will have plenty of well-known backers when she starts her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to participate at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, a passionate golfer, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who won't be present, advised her: "Simply stay calm."

"He basically advised me to go out there and relax," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's just a regular grandfather. He's not attending this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds position 461 in AJGA listings.

Yet she can get advice from 15-time major champion, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He advised me to go out there, relax, and go with whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching youth audiences.

Kai boasts millions of followers and just introduced a personal apparel and wellness brand.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
